OREA’s Response
The OREA office is closed and they have cancelled all OREA Real Estate College exams and classes.
All staff (except a few that have been identified as Critical Staff), will be working from home until further notice. All staff have been equipped with the necessary technology to perform their job remotely.
The OREA staff remain committed to delivering quality and timely service to Members and Member Boards. However, as staff continue to adapt to their new working conditions and focus on delivering essential services, responses to your emails and messages may take a little longer than usual. Notably, like many of you, many staff are working while looking after kids at home. They thank you for your patience as they continue to navigate this unchartered new reality, as you are all doing as well.
REMINDER: OREA Members Consultation – Events Cancelled
As you know, OREA is currently consulting with Members on the creation of new services. As part of this process they had scheduled REALTOR® Connect events in Toronto (March 23rd), London (March 27th) and Ottawa (April 1st). In addition, OREA was planning on hosting a townhall with Member Boards in advance of the CREA AGM on April 19th.
These events have been cancelled.
We are exploring alternative ways of reaching Members remotely to get their feedback on our proposed services and we will be updating you all on that very soon. If you would like to provide feedback to the consultation go to www.NewOREAServices.com.
